The Purpose of Our Blog

Birth Moms: We can't even begin to imagine the difficult decision you are facing, but we hope that by learning more about us you might find that we are just what you're looking for. Your choice is a selfless, courageous decision and even if we are not chosen we want you to know how much we respect your decision to choose adoption. We know in our hearts that there is a little soul meant to be part of our family. We welcome you to contact us with any questions that you have to make sure that we're the right fit for you.

Friends & Family: We created this blog so that you would have a website to share with friends and family to help us spread the word that we're adopting. The more people that know we are adopting the more likely we will be put in contact with a birth mom. Please share our blog on your Facebook and email it to anyone you think could help. We appreciate all of you for being so supportive in our decision and helping us start our family!

More About Eva

Eva was born in Mississippi.  She still has family that lives there that we visit from time to time.  Her parents have been married for almost 40 years and live in Bonners Ferry, ID.  Eva grew up an only child and spent time fishing with her father, riding horses, playing with her cousins and enjoying the company of her many pets.  In 1993 her family moved to John Day, OR where she made many friends that she still keeps in contact with today.  A few years later they moved to Walla Walla, WA where Eva attended running start at the local community college.  After graduating Wa-Hi in 2000 Eva went on to Western Washington University, graduating in 2003 with a BA in English, Creative Writing.

Eva loves to write, read, spend time up at Priest Lake with Chad and family, ski, bike ride, and travel to new places.  She likes to cook and enjoys taking the dogs (two Schnauzers) for walks.

  1. I have known Eva for many years. We grew up together in the small town of John Day. I cannot think of a better person in the world to raise a child, she is loving, caring, intelligent and an amazing person. She cares so much about heart and family. The things that really matter in life to Eva are the things it takes to raise a child and give them the love and strength they need in this world to succeed and become an amazing person themselves. Having someone like her in your life as a Mother, or even just a friend, is so important. She not only succeeds in everything she does from her career to her hobbies but she puts her whole heart and soul into anything she does. I’m grateful to have her as a friend and have always admired and looked up to her in so many ways. I cannot wait to be a part of her child’s life and watch the Carper’s grow together as a family.
