Our story began long before our wedding day, but we wanted to share our wedding video with you! It's on the right side of our blog page ------>
How did we get to that beach on Maui? We met on a blind date in 2006. It was out of character for either one of us to go on a blind date, but a mutual friend was very insistent so we agreed, begrudgingly. But it turned out to be on of the best decisions of our lives :)
We married in 2010 after four years of dating. We had to make sure we were right for each other! Marriage is a forever commitment in our minds. Both sets of our parents have been married for 35+ years.
Right after we were married we decided we were ready to start a family, but the universe had a different plan for us. We tried for months without any luck and then we both decided it was time to get checked out. We learned that Chad has some fertility issues and we tried IUIs to help us conceive. When those failed we turned to IVF. After 4 IVF cycles we accepted that a biological child was probably not in the cards.
It was a heartbreaking process, but we both believe that everything happens for a reason. We feel that there is a baby out there that is meant to be part of our family. We are choosing adoption because we know that there is someone faced with a difficult decision right now and we are so ready to be parents.
We can provide a stable, loving, and fun home for a little boy or girl that we've been waiting a long time for. They will grow up with a loving extended family including five cousins that are excited to meet them. Their summers will be spent on a lake; swimming, boating, playing in the sand, riding jet skis and exploring the beaches with lots of children that spend the summer near our lake cabin. Every child in our family has the opportunity to attend college if they choose to. They will be blessed with a loving, caring, and financially stable environment. Most of all, we will be blessed to have them as part of our family.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us and don't hesitate to email us, call or text with any questions.
